Full-Time Oral Surgery Assistant/Dental Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and calming patients
• Taking X-rays and CBCT scans
• Organizing and maintaining patient charts
• Communicating effectively with the doctor and the team
• Assisting the surgeon during surgical procedures
• Monitoring patient vital signs during procedures
• Setting up trays and maintaining a sterile environment
• Providing post-operative care and instructions
• Maintaining sterilization equipment
• Ordering and managing inventory of surgical supplies and dental implants
• Managing emergency drugs and the crash cart
• Keeping operatories clean and organized
• Preparing patient charts and consents

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dental/oral surgery assistant preferred
• Certification in dental radiography
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• CPR certification required
• X-ray certification required
