Dr. Pinney’s dental practice is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant in Juneau, Alaska! 
$25-$30/HR DOE Benefits

No experience is necessary. We will provide on-the-job training to the right person. Learning quickly, asking questions, and working as a team is essential. We are a busy office, so the ability to multitask while maintaining a pleasant and calm demeanor will serve you well in this role.

We are located on Willoughby Street in downtown Juneau. Our office offers excellent views of the surrounding mountains and parking is provided at the Downtown Transit Center.
About the Position:You will be assisting the Doctor during patient procedures, sanitizing and preparing operatories between appointments, providing support and comfort to patients, and keeping the doctor's on schedule, among other tasks. We work as a team, so you will be jumping in where and when you can to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
  • Assisting with all patient procedures
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments 
  • Patient intake and checkout, including payment collection
  • Treatment plan presentation and follow-up
  • Providing exceptional customer service 
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA laws 
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance and demeanor 
Benefits/Pay
Starting pay is $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. Most benefits are provided after 90-days and include:
