DQS is Hiring a Sales Coordinator Near Schaumburg, IL

JOB OBJECTIVES:

 The Sales Coordinator supports the sales organization with achieving revenue goals through administrative responsibilities and provides coordination activities for DQS training initiatives. Assists in the data entry of quotes into Dynamics that are received from Regional Account Managers and ensures the required supporting documentation is entered into EASY Data Management System. The Sales Coordinator also assists with customers on an as needed basis.

 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ensures all required documents including; QF (contract review form) is completely filled in, RPI/RP-IE is completed and signed by customer, quote form is complete.
  • Verify the Sales Checklist is complete and quote is entered into Dynamics, must sign off that the checklist is complete.
  • Supports the Regional Sales Managers on an as needed basis. 
  • Handle completion of sales reports, commission reports, research projects, and training courses assigned by manager.
  • Schedule, execute, host (i.e. be the primary ‘go to’ person) for all training events. Execute all logistics to successfully host events consistent with the business plan annually. 
  • Manage all class materials production, class prep. Materials distribution/ return for teacher evaluation and distribution as needed both pre and post event. 
  • Coordinate with DQS marketing department, trainers and provide necessary class registration links. In some cases the partner may provide a second trainer. 
  • Ensure they have qualified trainers by working with our operations/ program manager, schedules and coordinate marketing messaging. 
  • Develop a 15 month rolling timeline using appropriate scheduling products (MS Project, etc.) that is shared with all necessary internal and partner resources. 
  • Manage back-office ABSORB processes for class registration, financial sign-up and cancellation/returns, etc. 
  • Coordinate with DQS operations to ensure all available qualified trainers are booked at least 60-90 days in advance. Work with program manager to identify alternative qualified trainers as needed inside or outside DQS. 
  • Manage ABSORB connections to DQS e-solutions to ensure full 24/7 functionality and software tool revisions. 
  • Organizes and prioritizes work assignments to complete on time. 
  • Proactively anticipate concern areas in advance and applies creative approach to solve problems maximizing effective use of appropriate resources. 
  • Responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments. 
  • Maintains cooperative and productive working relationships and communications with all employees.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to a safe, clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED:

  • Some University education (Equivalent to a U.S. Associate’s degree), preferably in a technical, business or related discipline. 
  • Ability to work within a sales organization.
  • Demonstrated customer focus.
  • Must be detail oriented and extremely organized.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills with senior executives, internal staff, field teams and external customers.
  • Excellent analytical skills with abilities to self-direct.
  • Ability to present self in a professional demeanor, work well under pressure and maintain flexibility.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Ability to multitask and often meet stringent deadlines.
  • Ability to type 45-50 wpm.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook.
