Arcadis DPS Group is looking to add a Turnover Package Specialist to our team in Muskegon, MI. The Turnover Package Specialist will be accountable for reading P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts, and CSA drawings as per system scope requirements. Identify system scope in drawings for walkdown documentation package, conduct system/equipment walkdown with the P&IDs and other documentation as required to ensure that the system is complete and ready for client walkdown. Summary Arcadis DPS Group is looking to add a Turnover Package Specialist to our team in Muskegon, MI. The Turnover Package Specialist will be accountable for reading P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts, and CSA drawings as per system scope requirements. Identify system scope in drawings for walkdown documentation package, conduct system/equipment walkdown with the P&IDs and other documentation as required to ensure that the system is complete and ready for client walkdown. Coordinate with field construction quality team to resolve issues that arise from system walkdowns and track and report critical punch list findings to CM, sub-contractor, vendors, CQV, and project controls teams.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for facilitating coordination of meeting with sub-contractors to verify turnover package requirements, you will assure critical pre-commissioning activities such as megger and continuity, testing and balancing, chemical cleaning and flushing, passivation, pressure testing are all properly documented
Review and create system turnover packages
Ensure all punch list items recorded before client walkdown is scheduled for execution.
Ensure all support documentation such as submittals, RFIs, drawings, specifications, and punch list data is up to date and accurate
Coordinate with the project controls and document controls teams, also provide a planned and documented approach for the final turnover of facilities, systems, and equipment to the CQV team in accordance with the P6 schedule
Coordinate with the construction teams and CQV team to provide logical system and partial system boundaries that facilitate timely installation, construction completion, and turnover activities
Responsible for reading P&IDs, line diagrams, panel layouts, and CSA drawings as per system scope requirements
Coordination with the field construction quality team to resolved issues that arise from system walkdowns is required
Facilitate walkdowns with client rep as per engineering project controls schedule requirements
Facilitate the timely transfer of care, custody, and control of systems to client
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent years of relevant experience
5 years of Construction Turnover experience on Pharma or Biotechnology projects
Experience performing walkdowns with sub-contractors and clients to drive punch list closure
Required to be onsite for the duration of this work
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, and Bluebeam
Highly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative
Excellent verbal, written, organizational and communications skills
Commissioning experience in the Life Sciences industry is preferred
