DPC has a career opening for an energetic, resourceful and self-motivated commercial office Building Maintenance Technician position to join an efficient and dedicated maintenance team responsible for a 17 building, office park consisting of 1,188,085 square feet in Lakewood. The position will report directly to the chief engineer and property management team.

We are looking for a candidate who possess recent hands-on experience in the following specific areas of responsibilities including, but not limited to, general maintenance and building repairs such as drywall, painting, light fixture repairs and bulb replacement, minor plumbing, and electrical work to maintain functional buildings. The candidate will respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner and communicate the status of requests to the tenant. The technician position may also complete maintenance work to the exterior of the facilities, including painting, grounds keeping or HVAC maintenance duties such as air filter replacement or other system needs. This is not a managerial position.

Skills and knowledge for this position will be general construction, safety hazards, building HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Some computer and administrative skills will be required. The candidate must have a working knowledge and understanding of blueprints. Vendor, tenant and ownership relations are paramount to DPC’s reputation and so the candidate must maintain good relationships and client services.

Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in building operations and systems maintenance.

The Building Maintenance Technician will respond to emergency situations and will have on-call responsibilities.

Must possess a valid driver's license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company.
