Job Description: Doylestown Country Club is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Golf Starter/Ranger. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our golf course, providing exceptional service to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and Assist Golfers: Welcome golfers as they arrive at the course, providing warm and courteous assistance. Answer any questions they may have regarding tee times, course rules, and facilities.

Manage Tee Times: Maintain an organized schedule of tee times, ensuring efficient flow of play throughout the day. Coordinate with the pro shop and other staff members to accommodate golfers' preferences and reservations.

Monitor Pace of Play: Patrol the course regularly to monitor the pace of play and ensure that groups are keeping up with the designated speed. Provide gentle reminders and guidance to players to maintain a steady pace and avoid congestion on the course.

Enforce Course Policies: Enforce course rules and regulations, including dress code, cart usage, and course etiquette. Address any infractions diplomatically and professionally, educating golfers on proper conduct when necessary.

Assist with Course Maintenance: Work closely with the grounds crew to identify any issues on the course, such as divots, ball marks, or hazards. Help to maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of the course throughout the day.

Handle Customer Inquiries: Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns, providing accurate information and resolving issues in a timely manner. Ensure that all interactions with members and guests reflect the high standards of Doylestown Country Club.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role, preferably in a golf course environment.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, guests, and staff.

Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Reliable transportation to and from Doylestown Country Club.
