Duties & Responsibilities:

• Routinely prepare and send reports.

• Respond to tax notices and other general inquiries.

• Submit bi-weekly wage deduction payments (backup role only).

• Submit bi-weekly/monthly/quarterly tax payments as applicable.

• Knowledgeable in federal/state tax withholding and the consequences of pre-tax. deductions in the taxing process.

• Ability to perform reconciliation of payroll data to tax liability.

• Assist in processing year-end W-2s.

• Responsible for daily balancing/impounding of client accounts for fees/taxes.

• Special projects and research as assigned by management.

Education and Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in payroll tax and/or tax deductions is required.

• Have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

• An equal ability to work independently and with a team.

• Possess strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

• Be proficient with HRIS and Payroll Tax technology.

• Be proficient with the Internet and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: $50,000-$55,000
Work Location: Onsite

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST. Overtime and weekends may be required during necessary critical periods to meet deadlines or when Doyle HCM is dealing with unpredictable increases in workload.
