Downtown Phoenix Inc. is Hiring a Content Manager Near Phoenix, AZ
:
The Content Manager is responsible for managing the content on the Downtown Phoenix Inc. website and developing blog stories that highlight influential people, places, and experiences Downtown. In addition to website management, the Content Manager curates and produces the weekly DTPHX Insider Newsletter and spearheads special marketing projects like the DTPHX Directory. The position includes some basic graphic design skills, photo and video sourcing and execution, and providing support at the organization’s events. The Content Manager also manages vendor and contributor relations with support from the Marketing Director.
· Manage all images and content on the Downtown Phoenix Inc. website (dtphx.org) and produce regular blog posts about Downtown Phoenix, including business profiles, event previews, development updates and all things impacting our evolving Downtown.
- Curate and produce the weekly DTPHX Insider newsletter and video content for the YouTube account.
- Work with the Marketing Director to spearhead marketing-related projects, from strategy development to project execution.
- Manage select vendors and content contributors, and assist with reviewing proposals and editing blog posts as needed.
- Meeting/supporting stakeholders, Phoenix Community Alliance Members, and business leaders to build relationships and identify opportunities for service.
- Provide support at Downtown Phoenix Inc. events on an as-needed basis.
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree in Journalism, English or Marketing preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic photography and video skills
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Proficient in AP Style Guide and copy editing
- Experience using/managing a variety of social media and e-communication platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Emma, YouTube, etc.)
Highly knowledgeable about Downtown Phoenix--including its history—and possessing a genuine passion for our rapidly evolving neighborhood.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
