This job is located off campus in Hillsboro, Oregon with flexibility for some part-time remote work.

Hillsboro Downtown Partnership (HDP) is a community development non-profit that supports individuals, organizations, businesses, property owners, and government entities to promote and sustain Downtown Hillsboro. HDP partners with the City of Hillsboro, the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Oregon with the mission to cultivate and amplify a vibrant Downtown Hillsboro community. Our size and role in the community allows us to offer wrap- around support to Downtown Hillsboro. Staff often wear many hats and jump into projects outside of their scope in order to support each other and the Downtown Hillsboro community. As a result, our skill- sets are varied and ever-building, our experiences are diverse and we are endlessly creative in finding solutions.

We are looking for a person to fill a temporary data analyst position, who will be able to evaluate the status of existing community plans, aggregate program results, and then report on the progress and investment in Downtown Hillsboro over the last two decades. This job is part investigator, part storyteller, and 100% impactful. The final project will be the development of a visual and text-based report that our organization can present to Downtown stakeholders and funders. The final report will also potentially contain next steps and recommendations, and if not will influence the future of priorities in this regionally important community center. The incumbent will have the opportunity to network with professionals in the community and economic development field, as well as to use new technology to reach the output.
