Downtown Atlanta Dentistry, PC is Hiring a Certified Dental Assistant - CDA - FT Near Atlanta, GA

Our office is looking for a motivated and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our culture-driven team full-time. This is a high-paced, patient focused office with a strong team. We are looking for a long-term addition who wants to find a permanent home.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Experience is a plus
  • Certificate of CDA
  • Current CPR Certification Status

Daily tasks to include:

  • Preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments and ensuring necessary equipment is ready for providers
  • Assisting providers during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating needs (taking final impressions for permanent indirect restorations, adjusting, and cementing permanent indirect restorations, making temps for posterior/anterior crowns/bridges and more)
  • Taking and processing x-rays of patients
  • Processing lab work for the providers
  • Greeting patients as they arrive and scheduling appointments
  • Advising patients on recommended treatment and post Op care
  • Updating and maintaining health records
  • Handling general administrative and other duties to optimize the practice
