Assistant Deli Manager – Managerial reliever to the Deli Manager. Responsible for the operational performance of the Deli Department, while on shift. Together, the Deli Manager and Assistant Deli Manager share in the successful achievement of all departmental goals.

Experience

Assistant Deli Manager –

• Minimum of six months of food and beverage experience.
• Minimum of six months leadership or supervisory experience.
• Kitchen equipment knowledge and good knife skills preferred.
• Previous natural foods retail experience preferred.

Skills

• Each food, beverage or bakery item produced has its own story. Learn basic knowledge of all food, beverage, or bakery item. Ability to describe them and assist customers with recommendations.
• Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, utilizing recipes and basic measurements.
• Problem Solving – Ability to solve a variety of situations in a productive, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Team Members and customers.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions, particularly whilst utilizing Microsoft programs.

Starting Pay

Assistant Deli Manager - $28.75 per hour
