Dowell Systems, Inc. is looking for a candidate to help us develop the next generation of management systems for automotive repair shops. This is a full-time remote position located in Westchase, FL. Local candidates only as we enjoy getting together with our teammates often.

This position will have a dual role;

• As a Full-Stack developer you’ll help us create web-based applications and Restful API’s for our current and future management systems.
• On the operations side you’ll take ownership of Cloud platforms including AWS services (EC2, Aurora, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, etc.) and other supporting services (Cloudflare, G Suite, transactional ESP services, etc.) to update, design, develop and implement important operational requirements.

Our current development stack is React 18/Typescript, .NET 6-8/c#, and PostgreSQL. Demonstrated proficiency in this stack is required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Professional web development full stack experience creating API’s (RESTful and other) including utilization of C#, ASP .NET 8, EF, NGINX, and unit testing
• Front End development using Typescript and React. Experience with CSS helpful (not required)
• Database design, operations, and troubleshooting for Aurora PostgreSQL
• Development and operational experience with cloud platforms including AWS services (EC2, Aurora, S3, Elastic Beanstalk, etc), Cloudflare, G Suite, and transactional ESP services
• Solid understanding of deployment automation solutions and CI/CD with AWS code pipeline
• Development and operational experience in creating, integrating and maintaining credit card processing, transactional emails, vendor/partner integrations and other services
• Familiarity with industry best practices and topics including web application security, network security, SOLID principles, design patterns, user acceptance testing, business continuity, and user experience
• Experience with GIT version control systems (AWS Code commit is a plus)
• Strong debugging and problem solving skills. On call availability (for extremely rare service disruptions only)
• Knowledge of Docker is a plus
• Network Administration experience including segregated secure physical and virtual networks is a plus
• Proxy/WinGate experience is a plus
• Additional bonus points given for experience with Microsoft Windows environment systems administration experience including Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure / Remote Desktop Servers, Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), backup, and workgroups
