Dover Children's Home is Hiring a Youth Support Specialist Near Dover, NH

Dover Children’s Home is a non-profit, intermediate-level residential treatment program designed to provide a wide array of community-based services for youth ages 10-21. We proudly serve youth from all New Hampshire communities who have faced significant trauma and familial disruptions.

Dover Children’s Home strives to provide youth and families with as many opportunities as possible to experience success and personal growth. It is our belief that providing a combination of experiences, including age-appropriate, typical, adolescent activities and therapeutic, support activities will help the youth become more engaged, active members of the community.

We are hiring for two positions following either a Sunday-Wednesday (Sun 10a-10p, Mon 2-10p, Tues 2-10p, Weds 11a-11p/8a-8p) or a Wednesday-Saturday (Weds 11a-11p/8a-8p, Thurs 2-10p, Fri 2-10p, Sat 10a-10p) schedule. The Youth Support Specialist is responsible for the oversight of daily activities, needs and safety of all residents. The Youth Support Specialist is responsible for assessing the needs of youth and communicating observations and needs to the treatment team. This position reports directly to the assigned Residential Coordinator. All staff at Dover Children's Home must have a valid driver's license and must be 21 years of age or older by the start of their employment. Dover Children's Home is a Recovery Friendly Workplace that strives to be a supportive, inclusive environment for our residents, their supports, our employees, and the broader community.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
