Douglass Properties is Hiring a Community Manager Near Spokane, WA
Job Objective: The Community Manager is responsible for all community operations. When there is no Leasing Specialist or Assistant Community Manager on staff the Manager’s duties extend to cover that position on a daily basis.
Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 Per Hour DOE. Bonuses.
Reports to: Senior Manager and Regional Manager
Essential Job Functions:
- Rent/Lease Apartments
- Audit & collect on delinquent current accounts
- Collect all monthly rents
- Conduct move-ins and renewals
- Responsible for preparing and delivering all notices (3 Day, 10 Day and lease violations)
- Code and ensure all paperwork coming from community are accurate
- Prepare and execute leases and renewals
- Order supplies needed to run community efficiently
- Complete all weekly and monthly reports
- Courteously handle resident requests and complaints
- Implement leasing and marketing strategies
- Generate new ideas & help implement Resident Retention Programs
- Inspect turned, vacant units to ensure they are rent ready per company standards
- Inspect grounds, models, and community office daily to ensure orderly, in working condition and good repair
- Organize resident retention functions including parties and newsletters
- All other tasks as assigned

- Education: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Equipment: Position requires individuals to furnish their own vehicle to pick up supplies and perform other duties as necessary.
Attendance/Schedule:
Regular work schedule for this position will be 5 days a week 8:00 AM to 5 PM (hours depend on the location). The individual must be punctual and accountable. This position requires ability to work any day of the week, any week of the year and to serve on call as necessary. The individual must attend all training classes and meetings as scheduled.
