Reports to: Controller
Job Summary: The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of accounting transactions. This role involves reconciling accounts specific to the industry, overseeing month-end processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the overall financial health of the organization.

Oversee the month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate recording of costs and related activities.
Prepare and post adjusting journal entries.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience in the role.
Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
2-4 years proven experience as a General Ledger Accountant, preferably with exposure to label printing or manufacturing.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
Experience in Sage 100 accounting software (proficient preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on production costs.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Must be able to multitask and manage competing demands.
