Doubletree Suites by Hilton Raleigh Durham on Meridian Parkway, is looking for a part-time Host/Hostess that is out going and has outstanding customer service skills. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and holidays. There is some flexibility in the hours, but preferred hours are 3:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure all tables are set properly.
• Greet guests in friendly manner, seat quickly and issue menus.
• Be familiar with the menu to answer guest questions.
• Answer phone properly and provide accurate information.
• Follow accurate cash handling and room charge procedures. Process payment through P.O.S. system. Count and close cash bank daily.
• Assist servers when needed
• Clear and reset the dining room as needed

Job Requirements:

• 6 months previous Host/Hostess experience preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling and kneeling while cleaning.
• Must be able to lift 10 – 25 lbs.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
