What will your job responsibilities and duties be?

• As a Bartender, you are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and/or food to hotel guests and outside patrons in our Lobby Bar and Grill.
• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards; Present and serve beverages to guests
• Take food orders accurately and upsell average check; communicate to kitchen staff timely and serve food with proper accompaniments. Serve food and beverage as well as package “To Go” orders and delivery to rooms as requested
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations; valid TIPS certification required.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, charge to guest room, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change
• Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and bar fruit/garnish
• Respond professionally and decisively to inebriated guests by not serving and knowing when to take action with the Manager on Duty to remove patron from bar.
• Bartending experience - 2 years minimum experience in hotel setting preferred
• Excellent knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
• Work in a fast pace environment Stand and/or walk for 7-9 hours
• Customer Service experience
• PM Shift required – open seven days per week. Banquet Bar experience a plus and added earning opportunity
