Job Title: Bartender/Server Reports to: Taproom Manager
Summary
Serve beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks to guests while following all OLCC policies. Serve food to customers as they order from the menu. Is attentive to guests, making them feel welcome, at all times. Bussing tables, washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms, and other duties as assigned depending on staffing at businesses. This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction.
Essential Functions (Duties include but are not limited to):
Serves beer and wine to guest courteously and efficiently.
Ensures all sales are properly entered into the cash register and collects payments.
Greets guests entering and exiting in a friendly and courteous manner.
Reports needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor.
Responds quickly to requests from guests, supervisors or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintains supplies neat and organized manner.
Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies.
Reporting missing articles, damage or mechanical problems.
Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
Follows company policies and procedures.
Completes opening/closing tasks as appropriate and other cleaning tasks when possible.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Requirements:
Great customer service skills.
Knowledge of beer and beer styles is preferred.
Able to work all shifts and flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
Minimum of 21 years of age.
Strong knowledge and adherence to OLCC and Food Handlers laws.
Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task.
Ability to move kegs up to 140 lbs.
Self-motivated; self-directed; critical thinker; well-organized, resourceful.
Ability and willingness to work independently.
Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift.
