A valid driver's license is required for this driving position.
The Surveillance Technician I reports to the Surveillance Supervisor and is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of surveillance equipment.
Job Requirements:
- At least 21 years of age;
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Working knowledge of basic computer networking;
- Nice, friendly, and willing to work attitude;
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely;
- Ability to prioritize tasks and assignments;
- Valid driver’s license and clean, current DMV printout;
- Ability to obtain proper work cards and other certifications as needed;
- Ability to sit and perform computer work for long periods of time;
- Ability to work with ladders and relevant high lift equipment;
- Ability to bend, lift, and push up to 50lbs as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Alarm system installation;
- Basic cabling – Install, Pulling cable, testing cable, labeling cables by camera number;
- Basic computer skills;
- Basic IP & Port IPv4 setup;
- Basic network switch commands;
- Basic networking fundamentals;
- Basic troubleshooting techniques, analog;
- Basic troubleshooting techniques, digital (IP);
- Basic video profile;
- Cat6 Terminations;
- Company vehicle maintenance procedures, tool accountability and inspection;
- Direction and focus of cameras, hanging cameras, pointing cameras per layout;
- Full surveillance room system – Install, gaming floor – Install;
- Installing Wave Server;
- Low voltage use, Installation and maintenance;
- Proper preventive maintenance procedures;
- Safety & inspections;
- Setting up network client;
- Video & audio camera setup, video & audio camera setup OSD;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
