The Dothan Brook School in Hartford, Vermont is searching for a dedicated teacher that enjoys teaching in a collaborative school community. Dothan Brook is a pre-k through 5 school with an enrollment of 250 students. The ideal candidate will have strong teaching skills in the area of teaching ELA, experience in supporting a diverse student body through differentiated instruction, and the desire to work in close collaboration with the school's staff. The third grade program is departmentalized and this teacher will focus on ELA instruction. In addition, 3rd grade includes an outdoor classroom experience. Dothan Brook is a Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school that believes that all students can achieve academic and social success given appropriate instruction and supports. Candidates for this position must be willing to work within this framework and fully participate in the school's PBIS program. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and have or be willing to work toward Vermont teacher licensure.
