Title: Lemu Machine Operator

Location: Ft. Worth, TX

Reports to: Production Manager

Position Summary:

The Lemu Machine Operator is responsible for Continually monitoring machine operation to ensure accurate product measurements are maintained. Call maintenance or set up technicians as needed. Make minor machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy. Assist set-up tech in pre-maker-ready activities. Maintain standard production rates, low waste and meet all stated customer requirements. Complete all necessary documentation and reports. Set up and adjust rewinders; remove product from rewind machine and box for shipping. Weigh scrap from the run and separate it into bins. Performs other job-related duties as assigned subject to reasonable accommodations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Help production employees work efficiently to meet production standards
• Recommend process improvement opportunities to management
• Relay schedule information with press operations so expedited job due dates are met
• Have full knowledge of all phases of label production
  • Art capabilities
  • Press Capabilities
  • Finishing capabilities
• Pull dies, inks, and cylinders for all jobs on the press schedule over the next 24 hours.
• Mix ink and make corrections to meet customer specs
• Stage rewind twice a day to cover 1st and 2nd shift
• Be available to work with customers when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized production floor that is safe for all employees.
• Ability to walk/stand for an extended period of time.
• Assist the Management Staff on special projects.
• Any other responsibilities requested by the Production Management Staff
