About Us

Dos Hermanos brings authentic Oaxacan-style Mexican food to the central Ohio community via 4 brick-and-mortar locations, 3 food trucks, a taco cart, a concession stand inside the Greater Columbus Convention Center, as well as catering services.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest in friendly and efficient manner
• Communicate accurate information to guests
• Answers the phone in a timely, pleasant, and courteous manner
• Accurately quotes waiting times to guests and correctly maintains the wait list
• Informs Manager on duty when wait times are running over times quoted to guests
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the hostess/host stand and lobby area throughout the shift
• Fulfills food delivery orders
• Replenishes bottled beverages
• Stocks to-go containers and register supplies
• Receives and puts away delivery orders
• Sweeps, mops, cleans, and sanitizes station
• Clears and wipes down tables to reset for the next guests
• Multitasks with a sense of urgency
• Works as a team with other team members
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to consistently report to work on time
• Maintain cleanliness standards through daily and weekly checklists
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as a strong work ethic
• Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism
• Handle stress associated with responding to/solving problems
• Extends a courteous departure as guests leave the restaurant
• Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
• Must have 2 years of experience as a Host
• Must be available to consistently work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays

Compensation

• $13/hour plus the opportunity to earn tips on carry-out orders
• Paid biweekly

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
