Product Owner – ERP Support Dorel Home is seeking an experienced Product Owner – ERP Support to assist in evolution and maintenance of our ERP system and processes. This position will be an embedded member of our Project Management Office (PMO) with a wide range of responsibilities focused primarily on supporting our Information Services (IS) team and their work with the MAPICS XA software.This role will have direct interactions working with members of the IS team, others in the PMO, end users, and top-level executives while road mapping and managing projectsThe right candidate will have extensive experience with road mapping and managing ERP-related projects, including simplification of customized code and modules. Own all aspects of the project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, and closure. Develop detailed project roadmaps to highlight timelines, milestones, dependencies, resources, and budget.Develop stakeholder communication plans and coordinate with Project Manager to execute.Coordinate daily with Project Manager to drive projects to completion.Anticipate project risks and roadblocks early and often, communicating updates, impact, and contingency plans.Collaborate with the PMO team to drive process improvement across our department.RequirementsBachelor's degree in business preferred, or commensurate experience.Prior Experience5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Manager or Project Manager. 5 years of ERP knowledge using Infor XA (MAPICS) or similar ERP supporting functions such as MRP, order to cash, procure to pay, inventory control and their relationship to AR/AP/GL for manufacturing and importing for multi-division/multi-location company.Experience with costing, budgeting, and accounting as related to complex projects.Experience using project management software; Jira is a plus.Experience communicating and collaborating with colleagues at all levels of the company, from end users, technical peers, to C-suite executives.Necessary SkillsWorking knowledge of IT concepts and experience with managing ERP software projects.Must be able to demonstrate clear accomplishments in prior roles.Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs and evaluate new ideas with stakeholders.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.An understanding of how enterprise systems function, are maintained, and are integrated with the business. An understanding of data management, including security, retention, and privacy.Strong written and verbal communication skills; with the ability to work with colleagues to execute the project plan; ability to interact at Officer level; ability to negotiate and persuade while tailoring communication to the appropriate audience.Ability to work with employees throughout the company to quickly understand scope, requirements, and proposed architecture and solutions.Innate curiosity and desire to learn.
