As a Uniform Attendant at The Beverly Hills Hotel, your compensation will be $24.50 per hour.
What you'll do
You'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests:
A day in the life of our Uniform Attendants...it demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Uniform Attendants accomplish would be lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
•Our Uniform Attendants are responsible for inspecting uniforms for damage and removing substandard uniforms from circulation and issuing replacements, completing inventory of uniforms and linens as assigned, sorting and issuing uniforms, receiving uniforms and linens as assigned to ensure our guests receives nothing but the best experience.
•Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. Our Uniform Attendants are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.
•Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Uniform Attendants must communicate with other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains.
The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, our Uniform Attendants are provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
The physical ability to stand and or walk continuously. The physical ability to occasionally climb on a ladder to heights in excess of 12'. The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat and work above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine. The physical ability to use both hands for continuous grasping, fine manipulation. The physical ability to continuously carry up to 25-35 pounds of weight both on flat surfaces and up and down stairs for distances of up to 150 feet. The physical ability to occasionally lift up to 25-35 pounds of weight between the floor and waist, occasionally from the waist to above the shoulder. This weight will be constituted by the following items, but not limited to them: trays, trash bags, bulk food, cleaning and paper supplies, cases of bottled water, etc. The physical ability to work at heights and on uneven surfaces frequently. The physical ability to work indoors and outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions when required by the hotel. While performing this job the employee may work outside in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
