Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. As a ER Veterinarian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.

Duties:

- Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests on animals

- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and diseases in animals

- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed

- Perform surgical procedures as necessary

- Provide dental care, including cleanings and extractions

- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and preventive measures

- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to ensure the well-being of animals

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

Experience:

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school

- Valid state veterinary license

- Proficient in veterinary terminology and procedures

- Strong knowledge of animal care, physiology, and husbandry

- Experience with various animal species, including equine, is preferred

- Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively

- Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members

-Work overnight to support Emergency cases

Pay: $100,281.00 - $215,468.00 per year
