DOPE Boxing is Hiring a Kids Fitness Instructor Near Boise, ID

Rapidly growing fitness center seeks highly energetic, people-focused, KIDS trainer to lead group classes.

Under the leadership of, and reporting to, Lead Coach, a DOPE Kids Coach is responsible for ensuring an amazing and supportive experience from start to finish in leading a DOPE Kids class. A DOPE Kids coach helps to foster confidence, strength, coordination, character building, and respect -- building amazing humans both inside and out of the gym.

Our DOPE culture is vital to the success of the business. Whoever is chosen to be a part of the team must abide by these expectations in order to continue to grow with the company.

Expectations are as follows: *If changes are to be made General Manager, will communicate and update*.

Standards/Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 3 month boxing experience or prior coaching experience

Coaching

  • Understands the difference between “coach” and “instructor” taught in training.
  • Follows DOPE Kid Class structure taught in training/continuing education.
  • Responsible for delivering the BEST experience.
  • Responsible for understanding each child's unique abilities and limitations by communication and implementation of proper safe modifications.
  • Responsible for the improvement of skill/ fitness level of our kids while they are in class.

Member Retention/ Community Building

  • Responsible for continuing to cultivate the BEST DOPE Kids experience by proper engagement in all stages of member experience.
  • Responsible for getting to know ALL members of the community you come into contact with at DOPE.
  • Responsible for growth of individual classes and reaching attendance goals set by the General Manager

Continuing Education

  • Attend DOPE team meetings.
  • Be open to ongoing feedback to improve your skill/classes with positivity.
  • Attend quarterly review meetings with Lead Coach/General Manager.
  • Attending classes twice a month at the minimum to improve as a boxer, support team, and connect with members.
  • Attend occasional growth opportunities to expand your skill and coaching abilities.

DOPE Team Player

  • You care about the success of our team and our goals to grow the studio.
  • You have a positive attitude that doesn’t disrupt the vibrant energy of the studio.
  • You are responsible and take care of yourself outside the studio to be able to be your best for members.
  • You participate in communication by responding/engaging in our DOPE coach group chat, and engage in social media with DOPE.
  • You respect your fellow coaches/DOPE staff.
  • You share your knowledge with your DOPE team to improve the program as a whole.
  • You take responsibility for your classes, and do not expect anyone to continuously cover for you.
  • You clean up after yourself after classes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week
