Position: Morning Convenience Store Kitchen Staff

Reports to: Deli Manager/Store Manager

Hours: 3:00am-8:00am Monday-Friday

Position Summary:

C-store kitchen staff are responsible for preparing breakfast food, operate large-volume cooking equipment, such as grills, deep-fat fryers, griddles, or ovens. Prepare specialty foods, such as eggs, sausages, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Clean food preparation area, cooking surfaces and utensils. Cook and package batches of food, which are prepared to order or keep warm until sold. Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity. Measure ingredients required for specific food items being prepared. Clean, stock, and restock workstations and display cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate professionally with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately to complete all documentation.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to operate, use, and properly care for all stored equipment.
• Ability to lift, handle or move merchandise through the store generally weighing up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work approximately 3:00am-8:00am Monday - Friday.
• Ability to work as a team and independently with minimal supervision, self- motivated.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making and judgmental skills.
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Completes other duties as assigned by management.

• Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift 0-50lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to reach overhead repeatedly.
• Ability to bend/stoop/squat frequently and occasionally for extended periods of time.
• Exposure to outside weather conditions and walk in freezers and coolers frequently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
