In this entry-level position, you will undergo comprehensive training to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become a proficient Fireplace and Chimney Field Technician. The trainee will work closely with experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fireplaces and chimneys.

• Shadow experienced technicians to observe and learn fireplace and chimney inspection procedures.
• Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning chimneys and basic repairs.
• Learn to identify common issues with fireplaces and chimneys and understand appropriate solutions.
• Participate in the installation of new fireplaces and chimneys under supervision.
• Develop the ability to provide estimates for simple repair or maintenance tasks.
• Communicate effectively with customers under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate service appointments and tasks.
• Attend training sessions to acquire knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
