Full or Part-Time Physical Plant Manager

Job Summary:

Regional law firm seeks an experienced individual to join our team in Exeter, NH as a Physical Plant Manager / Home Manager. This individual will serve an essential role helping perform routine non-janitorial maintenance on office locations. The ideal candidate will be proactive and have basic Handyman knowledge. This candidate will be skilled in a wide range of areas, but they will also be able to recognize when a repair is outside of their skill set and make a recommendation to their supervisor, hire a professional and supervise the work.

Job Types: Full or Part-Time (20 - 35 Hours per Week)

Salary: Up to $30 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine office maintenance tasks, including but not limited to changing HVAC filters, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, replacing broken lightbulbs, troubleshooting, assembling, repairing, maintaining furniture, equipment, and landscaping.
  • Respond promptly to office maintenance requests from three regional offices.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
  • Schedule standard maintenance on company vehicles and bring for service.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience preferred.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Ability to lift 50 Lbs. or more, and engage in physical activities such as walking, crouching, bending, and carrying.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.
  • The ability to assist out of state offices 2-3 times per year (Paid Travel).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
