Our Utility Client in NYC is looking for an Oracle DBA with GIS experience for a 12 months project. This is contract role will need the consultant to have an onsite presence so locals are preferred.

Assignment Details

Support OMS and GIS Environment & Databases

o OMS and EGIS related Linux /Windows server requests built to standards

o Performance monitoring and optimization of all ArcGIS / ArcFM Environments

o Maintaining sync jobs and reporting failures to the Application PoCs

o Support Build deployments

o Maintain configuration stores

o Provide ongoing database maintenance, including optimizing databases for specific applications.

o Update database software as required.

o SDE compress and rebuild index

o Maintaining growth, scalability, tasks and schedules

o Data synchronization and replication

o Maintenance of current editing workflows and version architecture

o Maintain client's enterprise geospatial data models for Gas and Electric ( Versioned and non versioned datasets)

o Maintain the Esri ArcGIS Enterprise (10.6.1) and planned migrations

Skills & Requirements

Expertise in the Linux or Windows server operating systems and technologies

Expertise with Oracle and the ability to troubleshoot issues with Oracle, experience with building Oracle would be a plus

Oracle database version 11 to latest 21 and 23.x

* Oracle Golden Gate and Dataguard
