Done Right Chimney is Hiring a Shop Manager (PT/FT) Near Williamsburg, MA

Shop Manager:
We are looking for an enthusiastic shop manager to be in charge of the day-to-day operations of our store, coordinate staff, and ensure our customers have excellent shopping experiences. The shop manager's responsibilities include driving sales, enforcing company policies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing financial aspects such as daily revenue and salaries.
To be successful as a shop manager you should have excellent people management skills and a good understanding of business operations. An outstanding shop manager should be able to ensure the smooth operations of the business functions day to day.
Responsibilities:
  • Interfacing with incoming client requests.
  • Scheduling Customer appointments, utilize scheduling software, create Service Contracts and forms for jobs, and filing Building Permits as needed.
  • You will be the face of the office on weekends and will be acting as the hostess/host of the office.
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel and other data.
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
  • Managing and accounting for all money-handling procedures.
  • Ordering, recording, and managing inventory. Ensuring the shop is adequately stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
  • Handling customer complaints.
  • Communicate with Supervisor as needed and providing updates on essential business functions.
Skills:
  • Experience as an office administrator, office assistant, office manager, or relevant role.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities-friendly and engaging with a hospitality mindset.
  • Excellent, energetic phone voice. Speak clear English.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent in MS Office programs, QuickBooks, PCs, computers, and willing to learn dispatching software.
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40lbs.
Job Details:
  • Job Type: Part-time with the possibility of full time.
  • Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour, non-benefit position.
  • Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience: Negotiable
Schedule:
  • Week Day shift (10am - 5pm)
  • Weekend availability (Saturdays, 10am -2pm)
