The Role

Doncasters Storms Forge is looking to add an Inspector to join our Second Shift team in Springfield, MA.

The Inspector will perform and complete detailed inspection of forged parts using various hand tools, gages and associated test equipment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection using hand tools, gages and associated test equipment
• Assist and perform NDT inspections
• Read and interpret Blue Prints
• Perform Hardness testing using Rockwell / Brinell
• Maintain inspection and measuring equipment
• Assist with the calibration of quality control equipment
• Organize and retain inspection documentation electronically
• Performs a variety of other duties of equal or lesser complexity as required by the position or as assigned by the Quality Manager
