The Role

Do you have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well as part of an experienced team?At Doncasters Precision Castings - New England we have an exciting opportunity for a Heat Treat Operator to join our 2nd Shift team in Groton, CT.

You receive a 5% for 2rd shift too! As a Heat Treat Operator, you are responsible for packing castings in necessary baskets, loading the furnaces, following established practices and operate the equipment as necessary to comply with established procedures.

Once the cycle has completed, you will withdraw and quench or cool parts as directed. Furthermore, you will be responsible for submitting parts and test bars for hardness, tensile strength, elongation and other control checks following established practices.

This position will utilize a variety of hand tools and other bench equipment. Working closely within a talented team you will play an integral part of the site;

ensuring that company products and process meet Customer, National and International standards.
