Job Description: ***Position is located at Redstone Arsenal Military base***
Performs test and checkout of mechanical, electrical, propulsion, structural, hydraulic subsystems and complete systems located at field locations away from primary company operations. Verifies and corrects such things as welds, Sheetmetal assemblies, controls, alignment of equipment.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience as a Mechanic on Gasoline and Diesel Engines.
• Needs to be very organized.
• Experience with hydraulics.
• No degree required
• No travel involved in role
Desired Qualification:
• Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
*After several months on assignment, this role may require the candidate to operate a forklift. If so, client will complete 2 physicals (Climatic Physical, Forklift Physical), and the supplier will be required to cover the cost.
Schedule: 4/10 first shift, 6am-4pm.
