Job Title: Mechanical Test Technician
W2 Contract & Hybrid role
Work Location: Cambridge, MA
One of our leading Automotive client is looking for a Test Technician (AFB/Air Foil Bearing), who must have experience of working in laboratory environment and must have hands-on work involving assembly and modification of mechanical hardware . Also have familiarity in general fabrication skills, including metalworking and plumbing.
Required Skill & Experience:
- One year of experience in a lab environment
- One year of experience with basic mechanical assembly and fabrication
- Ability to read technical drawings
Responsibilities:
- Air Foil Bearing components testing , inspection, and data analysis.
- Adapting test facilities and test processes to achieve targeted operation.
- Install/un-install test units from test rig per established procedure.
- Basic mechanical fabrication using power and hand tools.
