We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

This role is responsible for the oversight of the Shoreline Management Plan to include company land in and around Roanoke Rapids and Gaston Power Stations and Reservoirs, including the compliance of the construction and use procedures. Ensuring that permit requests are accurate and construction guidelines are followed within the permit to ensure adherence to permitting conditions. Coordinate emergency action plans for dam failures and public safety plans, and license compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission pertaining to the reservoir, warning devices and public safety. Apply regulations within FERC license and Shoreline Management Plan to design drawings for requested activities on project lands. Use of GIS software to measure distances, locate structures and property lines. Responsible for the review of permit and easement requests on company land. Responsible for representing Dominion in property disputes including court testimony. Provide oversight to contract crews in the performance of maintenance activities associated with the Reservoir. Responsible for updating the company's Public Safety Plan, identifying hazardous areas and installation of warning devices. Responsible for investigating and preparing reports concerning fatalities inside the reservoir. . Performs as the company representative on the Lake Gaston Aquatic Weed Task Force and the Lake Gaston Chamber of Commerce and the Hydro Public Safety Issues Committee. Station Coordinator for FERC Relicensing requirements. Consults with representatives from local state and federal authorities and the surrounding communities in maintaining and managing all aspects of Lake Gaston and Roanoke Rapids Lake shoreline . Support the business plan through effective problem analysis and recommendation, proper work assignments, budget adherence and support of other station business objectives. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
