Overview:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating memorable experiences in a fun and safe environment. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and games for campers
- Provide guidance and supervision to campers throughout the day
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for campers to learn and grow
- Teach and coach various sports activities
- Educate campers on teamwork, sportsmanship, and other important life skills
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline during activities
- Assist with meal times, including serving food and monitoring camper dietary needs
- Collaborate with other counselors and staff to create a cohesive camp experience

Requirements:
- Previous experience in sports coaching, childcare, daycare, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to engage and connect with children of various ages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenging behaviors
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check clearance

Note: Experience or knowledge in Christian counseling, babysitting, theater, tutoring, or any other relevant field is also valued.
