JOB DUTIES INCLUDE

• Work within clients’ homes to assist themselves or their family with defining the goals in the least restrictive environment to foster personal growth. 
• Develop relationships with family members, become invested in the clients' future and become an advocate for their client 
• Work with the client's community service providers, teachers, principals, lawyers, probation officers and psychiatrists 
• Provide crisis intervention as needed 
• Track all individualized service plans and paperwork 
• Manage paperwork and meeting deadlines 
• Attend staff meetings and communicating with supervisors 
• Discuss updates, progress and concerns with supervisors on a weekly basis 
• Coordinate with community service providers 

QUALIFICATIONS

• A QPPMH must meet one of the following: 
• registered with the United States Psychiatric Association (USPRA) as an Associate Psychiatric Rehabilitation Provider (APRP); OR 
  • (ii) has an associate degree in a related field (social work, psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, sociology, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, human services counseling) and at least one year of experience providing direct services to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness; OR 
  • (iii) has a minimum of 90 hours classroom training and 12 weeks of experience under the direct personal supervision of a QMHP-Adult providing services to individuals with mental illness and at least one year of experience (including the 12 weeks of supervised experience). 
• Minimum 1 year experience providing therapeutic interventions to adults with mental health diagnosis 
• Clean driving record 
• Basic computer and documentation skills 
• Flexibility 
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
