**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced deli environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot food items

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

- Assist customers with their deli orders and provide excellent customer service

- Handle cash transactions using a cash register

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area

- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability

- Follow food safety guidelines and procedures at all times

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience in food preparation, preferably in a deli, restaurant, or grocery store setting is not necessary, but desirable.

- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively

- Passion for the food industry and delivering high-quality products and service
