Store Manager- Vintage Values on Castle

Qualifications:

Requires an organized individual sensitive to the issue of domestic violence. Applicants must have the ability to work with staff, volunteers and able to work under pressure.

Other qualifications include an understanding of, and agreement with, the philosophy and purposes of Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc., as well as, Vintage Values Resale Shops.

We hire based on life experiences, work experiences, professional training and or education.

Summary of Duties:

Duties include, but are not limited to, oversee all personnel management for the store including hiring, training, scheduling new employees/volunteers, and performance evaluations. Communicates and documents performance issues. Assures appropriate daily scheduling to support store operations and customer needs. Assists customers, stocking, merchandise and other store needs. Maintains accurate business records of store sales, receipts, donations, invoices and payroll. Holds regular staff meetings. Addresses customer complaints. Provides input for annual store budget and goals. Assures that all equipment, security system, and physical plant are in good working order to provide a safe, physical working environment.

40 hour work week, must be flexible and available to work Saturdays. Current benefits include Health, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, Pension Plan and Paid Leave.
