We are a local family-owned business offering a full line of power equipment and accessories, along with spare parts and service, for all of your lawn care and yard maintenance needs!

Our busy repair shop is looking for a friendly and responsible pick-up and delivery driver to handle our customers' outdoor power equipment. We provide the pickup truck and trailer, but you must have a clean and current driver's license. The driver must be able to operate and have a basic understanding of equipment such as lawn tractors, zero-turn mowers, and snow blowers. When delivering new machines, you are required to go over basic operating and maintenance instructions with the customer. When you're not out on the road, you will also assist with various tasks at the shop, such as assembling new equipment, power washing machines, and moving equipment and boxes. Applicant must have open availability Monday thru Friday from 9 am - 2 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Pick-up and deliver outdoor power equipment to customers on time
• Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery truck and notify owner of any issues
• Keep track of necessary paperwork, invoices, and payments
• Assist with various shop tasks
• Demonstrate operating instructions for new equipment
• Qualifications and Skills:
• Experience driving pickup truck with a 14' trailer
• Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined pick-up and delivery experience
• Familiar and comfortable with operation of outdoor power equipment
• Work well independently
• Prompt and efficient time management
• Open and transparent communication
• Familiarity with GPS devices and local area
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
• Reliable and trustworthy

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
