Dollamur Sport Surfaces is Hiring a Material Handler/ Custodian Near Fort Worth, TX
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in Art/ Finishing department including production areas, restrooms, and break rooms.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Clean and sanitize breakroom area and replenish paper supplies as needed.
- Keep paint storage area clean and organized, restock inventory onto shelving when received.
- Assist with material handling of sports mat rolls weighing up to 90 pounds with handcart.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Responsible for complying with all safety standards and consistently using all required PPE.
- Assist in the performance of preventative maintenance, and cleaning of the equipment and the facility.
- Perform all tasks as shown in Dollamur SOPs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Self-starter; must be willing to work in a team environment.
- Willing to work overtime and/or some weekends as required.
- Experience working in an ambient temperature manufacturing environment a plus.
- Must be able to work on your feet, bend, stoop, and lift consistently for all scheduled hours.
- Must be able to manipulate and move material with assistance weighing up to 90 lbs. by either rolling, lifting, or using a hand cart.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Must be able to read and understand spoken English.
- High attention to detail, ability to solve straight forward problems with a few concrete variables.
- Must possess hand-eye coordination necessary to perform essential duties.
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Job entails almost exclusively working in an ambient temperature manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Exposure to high temperature equipment, forklift traffic, sharp tools & objects, noise pollution, and moving mechanical parts.
- Physical requirements to perform this job include lifting up to 90 lbs., reaching, standing, kneeling, bending, and crouching. Must use eyes to focus and hands to operate equipment and tools.
