Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages while providing top-notch customer service.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a range of coffee drinks including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes
- Operate coffee brewing equipment with precision and care
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Take customer orders accurately and provide recommendations when needed
- Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served
- Follow food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills:

- Experience in the food service or food industry is preferred
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change
- Ability to drive sales through suggestive selling techniques
- Understanding of food safety guidelines and practices
