Arrow is growing into the Dickinson area and we're looking for full-time Restoration Construction Assistant!

This position is new and will be key to further developing our presence in the western North Dakota region. Viewed as a "triple threat" position, it covers a blend current job positions including carpentry field work, internal project management (materials/inventory), and has several assist functions dictated by the reconstruction project manager.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Purchase and stock construction materials
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper check-out process
• Reconcile and submit receipts to accounts payable for job costing
• Pick up material for shop, coordinate deliveries, and deliver material to worksite when necessary
• Assist with any emergency material oversites or corrections
• Coordinate with Bismarck Internal Project Manager regarding material purchases outside of Dickinson
• General cleaning, organization, and maintenance of the shop
• Assist Project manager with scoping and measuring and project planning
• Assist Field staff with various carpentry related tasks/jobs as assigned
• Other related duties as necessary

Experience and Skills:

• Individual must be familiar with aspects of residential (primarily) and commercial construction processes
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Experience and familiarity with the restoration and/or construction and/or homebuilding process and building materials
• Carpentry experience (2 plus years preferred)
• Excellent eye for detail
• Strong customer service skills
• Professional demeanor
• General tech savviness

Physical Demands:

• Lift (constantly) 5-15 lbs., lift (frequently) 15-40 lbs
• May involve significant stand/walk/ push/pull
• Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, frequent stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling
• Ability to work in confined spaces (occasional)
• Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat
• Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent

Pay:

Schedule:

• 45-50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, typically 7:30am through 5pm (may slightly vary depending on travel distance, when applicable)
• Occasional overnights (hotel room paid for and per diem offered)

Education:

• High School Equivalent 

License/Certification:

• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Reliable transportation for getting to and from work
