### Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Spanish Interpreter to join our team. As a Spanish Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in various settings. Your ability to accurately interpret and convey information will be essential in ensuring clear understanding and providing quality service. ### Duties: - Provide interpretation services between Spanish-speaking individuals and English-speaking professionals in medical, social work, legal, or other relevant settings. - Interpret spoken language during meetings, interviews, appointments, and other interactions. - Translate written documents, such as medical records, legal documents, or other important paperwork. - Assist with documentation review and ensure accurate translation of information. - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics standards. - Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and understanding. - Stay updated on industry-specific terminology and best practices. ### Experience: - Fluency in both Spanish and English languages. - Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is a plus. - Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is preferred. - Familiarity with medical terminology, social work practices, or child protective services is beneficial. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey messages accurately and clearly. - Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with diverse individuals. - Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy while working under pressure.
