Travel Maintain an aggressive travel schedule to the RSCs (1-2 RSC visits per month).

Description This position is responsible for driving the financial, operational and cultural results at the Do it Best Corp. warehouses. The director(s) will ensure that warehouses are providing staff members with a safe, respectful, productive and rewarding work environment. Providing member-owners with agile, responsive and accurate RSC order management, order fulfillment and order delivery services. Actively direct and support the RSC General Managers and their respective teams in the execution of operational efficiency and supply chain excellence.

Responsibilities

* Drive KPI performance results in productivity, quality and safety; with a sharp focus on continuous improvement.

* Actively support the implementation of automation and advanced technologies, such as the new WMS, that will result in improved financial results, operational efficiencies and member satisfaction.

* Support the analysis, planning and execution of strategic initiatives to expand the throughput and inventory capacity of the Do it Best Corp. warehouse and distribution network.

* Maintain both formal (bi-weekly) and informal (weekly) communication with RSC general managers to ensure compliance with the strategic plan (1PP) and to improve overall productivity and efficiency.

* Drive formal/informal RSC Leadership, Inbound/Outbound and Human Resource Conference Calls.

* Apply sound communication and motivational techniques in supervising and coaching the RSC general managers; driving accountability for the results of the RSCs.

* Drive warehouse efficiency improvements through slotting initiatives, racking projects, continuous improvement efforts and collaboration with RSC GMs.

* Select project management oversight of key initiatives and related projects at the RSCs as defined but not limited to items on the Logistics 1PP.

* Assist RSC GMs in developing their leadership teams, staff and related succession plans.

* Maintain fiscal responsibility within the RSC management team to ensure that the team is operating within the approved corporate budget.

* Build strong working relationships with all divisions within the company.

* Collaborate with the human resources team & safety director to drive policy & procedure compliance with a continuous improvement mindset.

* Work with and through the RSC GMs to develop and maintain strong member relationships to help drive RSC sales.

* Provide other support as necessary to ensure that each location performs in an efficient and safe manner.

Education and Expe

Education and Experience Minimum

* Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related business degree.

* 10 years of experience in warehouse management in an environment with an excess of 100 team members.

* 10 years of experience leading, motivating and coaching a warehouse distribution management team.

* Experience leading in a servant leadership environment.

Skills and Abilities

Minimum

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

* Able to develop presentations on a variety of topics for use with the RSC management team, and company-wide as necessary.

* Must have initiative and creativity to be able to provide new ideas to help grow the team and the company.

* Track record of success in management of teams to complete multiple, time sensitive projects.

* Experience working with WMS systems and related warehouse technology and software.

* Demonstrated ability and success to collaborate and work across all divisions.

* The ability to recognize the need for change and ability to execute.

* Experience in strategic planning and execution of strategic plans.
