We are seeking candidates for a Quality Technician on the 1st shift. This is role is a direct hire opportunity with all the perks!

What the Quality Technician will do :

  • Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and completing inspection reports
  • Document inspection results in reports and logs and input data into a quality system
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results

What you need to be the Quality Technician :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3 years of experience in quality manufacturing
  • Ability to use a variety of hand tool inspection equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and instructions, system schematics, GD&T blueprints, and technical policy or maintenance instructions. #metrocareers
