We are seeking candidates for Direct Hire Punch Press Operator opportunities on night shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $19.

What you’ll do as a Direct Hire Punch Press Operator :
- Operate press brake machine with assistance from Sr. Operator or Supervisor
- Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches
- Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints
- Check height, depth, and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments
- Produce parts for assembly operations meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements
- Program the CNC to produce new parts meeting specifications
- Perform spot inspections of parts
- Complete and maintain paperwork
- Set up light gauge metal
- Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel)
What you need to become a Direct Hire Punch Press Operator :
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds from floor, overhead, and waist level with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to push and pull carts with over 50 pounds of force occasionally for distances of over 30 feet with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to reach for elevated work, twist, squat, kneel, and bend to reach areas on frames during welding and grinding with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to continuously grasp equipment and perform frequent handling of small items
