We are seeking candidates for CNC Machine Operators on 1st, 2nd and weekend night shifts:

• 1st Shift: 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday 4-day workweeks! Earn $18.72-$20.03/hr
• 2nd Shift: 4:20pm-2:50am, Monday-Thursday 4-day workweeks! Earn $18.72-$25.00/hr
• 4th Shift (Weekend Nights): 6:00pm-6:00am, Friday-Sunday 3-day workweeks! Earn $21.53-$25.00/hr

What a CNC Machine Operator will do at Polaris:

• Operates equipment and is responsible for the proper use of machines, tooling, and inspection equipment
• Maintains production rate in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality assigned to the job
• Makes high quality parts to specifications and assists with the identification of root causes and corrective action for quality problems
• Ensures all production process documentation is completed and accurate
• Maintains a balanced workload by prioritizing and maintaining machine set-up, production, and maintenance duties
• Completes secondary operations such as deburring, assembling and washing parts during the machine cycle time per the print and machining process

What you need to be a CNC Machine Operator at Polaris:

• High School Diploma or GED completion
• 1 year of experience machining various parts in a close tolerance environment such as milling, turning, and grinding
• Knowledge of CNC equipment capabilities and daily maintenance of machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and specifications
• Experience with the use of machinist hand tools and measuring equipment
• Must be able to perform basic level math skills (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals)
