We are seeking candidates for Maintenance Workers on the 1st shift. Compensation for these direct hire opportunities is $22.

Company Summary
This company was established in 2021 following the acquisition of a successful egg farm in Thompson, Iowa. Their 240-acre farm is home to one million cage-free hens and pullets and has an 80-ton-per-hour feed mill.
Their eggs are processed and packaged directly on our farms to assure safety, freshness, and quality before they are shipped to customers.

What a Maintenance Worker will do :
- Perform general maintenance and routine checks on housing systems, including ventilation, water, feed, egg, and manure equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and track different types of conveyor belts
- Diagnose and conduct overall conveyor maintenance on schedule
- Troubleshoot and replace drive chains, gears, belts, pullies, shafts, rollers, electric motors, and gearboxes
What you need to be a Maintenance Worker :
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Trade or technical school education for maintenance, mechanical, welding, or electrical, is a plus
- 2 years of experience in industrial, commercial, or facility systems maintenance
- Previous maintenance experience in the poultry or agriculture industry preferred
- Basic electrical knowledge and previous use of electrical testing devices
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Willingness to work in various climate conditions including extreme heat and cold
